SPICE is a restaurant growth platform. We give restaurant partners upfront capital in exchange for dining credits, connect diners with the best restaurants in Riyadh, and turn every payment into something that gives back. We're a small team that moves fast, ships what matters, and believes every decision should create value for us, our partners, and our users.
This role is based in Riyadh. You'll sit between data, product, and brand, and you'll be expected to challenge all three.
You'll see this role posted across multiple cities. We're looking for the best lifecycle operator in MENA, and the work happens in Riyadh.
About The Role
This role belongs to someone who thinks in systems, not campaigns. Your job is to turn SPICE into the default way people pay when they dine out. That means understanding why users come back, why they don't, and building the infrastructure that closes the gap. No lifecycle architecture exists yet. You'll build it.
You'll work directly with the founding team, and what you build here will shape how SPICE grows its diner base for years.
What You'll Achieve
Own the full diner lifecycle: from signup through activation, first payment, repeat behavior, and long-term habit
Drive second transaction rate as your north star metric early on, then expand to frequency, retention, and LTV
Build behavioral loops that feel natural: discover, pay, earn, repeat — without relying on discounts or noise
Design segmentation and automated journeys that respond to behavior, not schedules
Run a relentless testing program across messaging, timing, incentives, and triggers — scale what works, kill what doesn't
Eliminate payment leakage outside the app by making SPICE the obvious choice at the table
Build SPICE's lifecycle infrastructure from scratch: journeys, health scoring, segmentation models, channel strategy
Skills You'll Need to Bring
3–6 years in lifecycle, CRM, or growth roles with a proven track record of driving repeat behavior, not just engagement
Hands-on experience with Insider
You can explain exactly how your work has moved revenue. Numbers, not claims
Strong analytical thinking: SQL is a plus
Experience building automated journeys and segmentation models from scratch
You've worked closely with product and understand how growth lives inside UX
Nice to Haves
You've been an early growth or CRM hire at a startup before
Experience in a consumer app, fintech, or marketplace where habit formation was the core challenge
